The Leaders of great companies are not only great at increasing profitability, but they are also organisational architects determined to establish institutional excellence for as long as the company is in business. Institutional excellence is a sustainable competitive advantage that enables your business to survive against competition over a long period of time. "When institutional excellence is in place, companies can achieve industrial leadership for generations."

In view of the importance and the relevance of sustainable ability to change, especially in today's world characterised by rapid unpredictable change and volatility, "Managing Sustainable Growth & Competitiveness in the Globalised Era" was chosen as the theme for the 2nd International CEOs Conference to be held on 15-17 June 2008 at the Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The conference, the second in the series, is organised by the Yayasan Sabah Group (YSG) and managed by the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI).

We are planning to bring together experts and leading players to develop unique capabilities that will help them to capture market opportunities and transform their business into successful trailblazers. Role-players and delegates will be able to share the latest key and innovative trends, unique value-creating strategies and unlimited opportunities, sharing of views, thoughts and ideas on numerous topics for participants and role-players to capitalise on, taking a risks and reaping the reward.

The inaugural conference, the 1st International CEOs Conference (ICC 2005) which was held on 27-30 March 2005, attracted more than 800 delegates and exhibitors from 31 countries. Five sessions of the most engaging topics were facilitated at the conference. The conference was officiated by the Second Minister of Finance, The Hon. Tan Sri Nor Mohammed Yakcop, representing The Hon. Prime Minister of Malaysia, culminating in several networking developments amongst delegates.
